First Wednesday Dinners
We believe that it is important for us to gather as a church body on a regular basis outside of worship to spend time together in fellowship. To this end, we have a dinner on the first Wednesday of most months. The dinners are hosted in our sanctuary at 6:00 p.m. on the dates we get together. They are laid-back, informal times for us to eat, laugh, talk, and get to know one another better. We would love to have you join us one Wednesday!
Men’s Fellowship
Twice a year, the men of GIPC gather in fellowship to build each other up in Christ.
Women’s Fellowship
The women of GIPC also gather in fellowship twice a year to build each other up in Christ.
“Beyond the Pages” Book Group
Many of the women in our church gather regularly in the form of a book group. The book group normally meets on the first Tuesday of each month. The next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, April 2nd at 1:00 p.m. to discuss Neptune’s Honor: A Story of Loyalty and Love by local (award-winning) author Pamela Bauer Mueller. The book group meets at Magnolia Manor in the second floor lounge of the large building beside the water fountain.
