To Know God and Make Him Known

II Corinthians 5:11

Our Purpose
We believe that God has called His Church to a living and intimate knowledge of Himself and challenged us to faithfully communicate His word, lovingly nurture His people, and boldly proclaim His grace in our community and to the ends of the earth.

Our Mission
The mission of Golden Isles Presbyterian Church is to enable a living and intimate knowledge of God (Jeremiah 24:7) among our people by emphasizing the priority of God-centered, deep, warm, joyful and historically reformed corporate worship (Psalm 113); to faithfully communicate God's Word by teaching the Scriptures with a humble call to response among believers and discipling others to do the same (2 Timothy 2:2); to lovingly nurture God's people by bearing with one another, forgiving one another, teaching one another and praying for one another (Colossians 3:12-17); to boldly proclaim God's grace through an ever-expanding effort at local evangelism (Acts 1:8), a strategically-focused emphasis on world missions (Acts 13:2-3) and a renewed effort to show mercy to the lost and hurting in our community (Jude 22-23).
