There are various ways to get connected at Golden Isles Presbyterian Church:
The first and most important way to get connected is by attending our Sunday service, which is held at 10:30 a.m. This meeting forms th:e core of our congregation life at GIPC, as we gather to hear the Word of God read and preached, join our hearts in spoken and sung prayer, and enjoy the Sacraments of baptism and the Lord's Supper.
We have a nursery available for young children, as well as a Children's Church, for four and five-year-olds, which meets during the latter half of the morning service.
Secondly, our Sunday School meets at 9:15 a.m. and is a place for more informal fellowship and teaching as we learn about different aspects of the Christian life. In these classes we cover a wide range of topics - from Theology and Doctrine, to Bible Content, to practical instruction about what it means to be a Christian, both within the church and within the culture around us. Current series: "The Gospel Project" ...with classes for school-age children and adults.
Small Group Bible Studies.
Thirdly, we have small group Bible studies which take place throughout the week. (Please refer to the church calendar for dates and times.) These meetings provide an opportunity for more intimate fellowship and the development of relationships and community within GIPC.
Mid-Week Prayer Meeting.
Charles Spurgeon likened prayer to the engine that drives the church. We meet for prayer each Wednesday evening (except the first) at the pastor's home to pray for world missions, persecuted Christians, and our own mission in Glynn County.
For more information about any of these meetings, please contact the church office.
