Get Connected.
There are various ways to get connected at Golden Isles Presbyterian Church:
Sunday Services.
The first and most important way to get connected is by attending our Sunday services, which are held at 10.30am and 6.00pm. These meetings form the core of our congregation life at GIPC, as we gather to hear the Word of God read and preached, and to join our hearts in spoken and sung prayer, and to enjoy the Sacraments of baptism and the Lord's Supper.
We have a nursery available for young children, as well as a Children's Church, for four and five year olds, which meets during the latter half of the service.
Sunday School.
Secondly, our Sunday School meets at 9.30am, and is a place for more informal fellowship and teaching as we learn about different aspects of the Christian life - in these classes we cover a wide range of topics from Theology and Doctrine, to Bible Content, to practical instruction about what it means to be a Christian, both within the church and within the culture around us.
Small Group Bible Studies.
Thirdly, we have small group Bible studies which take place throughout the week. The women of the church meet every Monday afternoon for prayer, and the men meet on Tuesday mornings for a Bible study. We also have a church-wide Bible study that meets every second Wednesday evening. These meetings provide an opportunity for more intimate fellowship, and the development of relationships and community within GIPC.
For more information about any of these meetings, please contact the church office.
